POD MM Tool Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

This policy explains how POD MONEY MAKER LTD handles information when you use the POD MM Tool Chrome extension and its connected backend service.

Purpose of the extension

POD MM Tool has one purpose: to provide authorized subscribers with controlled access to shared online subscription services. It signs users into their POD MM account, installs and removes only the authentication data required for enabled services, shows service notifications and usage counters, and applies safeguards that protect shared sessions and fair access.

Information we collect and process

Account and authentication information

- Name and email address supplied when an account is created or updated.

- A securely hashed account password. We do not store the account password in plain text.

- Session and device identifiers needed to keep the account signed in, support account recovery, and prevent simultaneous use of one account in multiple browser profiles.

- Authentication information for enabled subscription services, such as cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, or Firebase session data. This information is supplied by POD MM to the extension only to provide access to the selected service. The extension does not copy a user's unrelated cookies or passwords back to POD MM.

Limited usage and service-presence information

After the user gives the in-extension Usage & Fair Access agreement, the extension may send:

- Counts of visits to paths configured for an enabled subscription service.

- Counts of configured actions, such as a click, form submission, or Enter-key submission. Where configured, a count is recorded only after a matching result appears.

- The identifier of an enabled subscription service that is currently open. The full page URL is not sent for this presence status.

- The server receipt time for each batch of counts.

POD MM does not collect page content, prompts or other text entered by the user, generated files, downloaded files, form values, or full browsing history. Usage counters and their server receipt times are visible to the user and the service owner for fair-access administration and abuse investigation.

Notification information

The extension receives service notifications and may report whether a notification was shown, blocked by browser settings, or clicked. An in-extension notification inbox is provided when system notifications are unavailable.

Installed-extension safety check

The extension locally checks limited metadata about installed browser extensions to identify extension IDs blocked by POD MM and developer-installed or sideloaded extensions that can access an enabled subscription site or use debugger access. This check protects shared authentication sessions. The installed-extension list and its metadata are not transmitted to POD MM. If a risk is detected, access to shared subscription sessions may be cleared or blocked.

Technical information

Our servers may process ordinary security and operational information associated with HTTPS requests, such as request time, status, and network address, to operate, secure, and diagnose the service. We do not use this information for advertising or unrelated profiling.

How information is used

We use information only to:

- Create and maintain the user's POD MM account.

- Deliver, activate, revoke, and secure authorized subscription access.

- Display the user's seven-day usage counters and administer fair shared access.

- Show service notifications and measure their delivery status.

- Prevent account sharing, concurrent browser-profile use, unsafe extensions, and excessive simultaneous tabs.

- Provide support, diagnose failures, enforce service rules, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell user information. We do not use or transfer it for personalized advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or unrelated marketing profiles.

Sharing and service providers

Information is not shared with third parties except as necessary to operate and secure the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. Infrastructure providers currently include Heroku/Salesforce for application hosting and MongoDB Atlas for database hosting. These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable security and privacy terms.

Retention

- Detailed usage counts and their server receipt times are retained for seven days and then expire automatically.

- Notification campaigns, inbox entries, and delivery receipts are retained for seven days.

- Current service-presence status expires shortly after an enabled service is no longer detected.

- Account and subscription records are kept while the account is active or as reasonably necessary for support, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

- Authentication data injected into Chrome is removed when the user signs out, access is revoked, the account is blocked, consent is withdrawn, or the extension performs a required security cleanup. Removing the extension may prevent it from performing a final cleanup; the user can clear site data directly in Chrome.

Security

Data transmitted between the extension and POD MM uses HTTPS. Account passwords are hashed. Sensitive subscription authentication data is encrypted at rest. Access to administrative systems is restricted. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled.

User choices and deletion

Users can review their seven-day counters in the extension. The Usage & Fair Access agreement can be withdrawn in the extension; withdrawal deletes recorded usage history, clears injected service sessions, and locks subscription access because the counters are required to administer shared access. Users may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of their POD MM account information, subject to legal and security requirements.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

POD MM Tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide or improve the extension's disclosed user-facing functionality and security. It is not transferred for personalized advertising and is not made available for human reading except with the user's specific consent, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, to comply with law, or after aggregation and anonymization for internal operations.

Changes

We may update this policy when the extension or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available at this URL. Material changes that affect collection or use will be disclosed before the changed processing begins when required.
